Pacific Sun Olive Oil Brings Two Silver Medals Home From The Los Angeles County Fair
Pacific Sun Olive Oil of Gerber, California is proud to announce that it won two Silver Medals in the "Oils of the World" contest at the Los Angeles County Fair. The award winning oils, the 2004 Woodson Bridge Sevillano and 2004 Mission/Ascolana Blend, represent the wide spectrum of flavors that are available from the premium olives grown in Tehama County. The Woodson Bridge Sevillano oil has an herbaceous quality, with a buttery body, and a lingering peppery finish. The Mission/Ascolana Blend, on the other hand, has a buttery and fruity flavor profile with a subtle, peppery finish.
"We have extended our product line with several new oils this year," said manager Brendon Flynn, "we are proud of the fact that we have maintained the award winning flavor profile of our Mission/Ascolana Blend, while creating other award-winning oils." "We feel that we attained the exact flavor profile that we wanted this year with all of our oils," added manager Brian Kenny "it is nice to know that our flavor profile is award-winning." Jane Flynn, owner of Pacific Sun Olive Oil, stated "Our number one concern has been maintaining the consistent quality of our natural product. We are very pleased with the fact that we have won consecutive silver medals for our Mission/Ascolana oil."
